AboutProduct DesignerTel Aviv

I design complex products and the systems that hold them together. B2B and B2C, mostly the parts nobody wants to touch.

I'm Nicole Kopilov, a product designer in Tel Aviv.

Four and a half years designing, three and a half of them in product. Most recently the only designer at Housetable, a renovation lending platform shipping to three American credit unions, with three engineers and a PM.

The hard part was never the interface. It was three audiences, a regulator, a bank, and a person who just wants to know if they can afford their kitchen.

Right now I'm between roles and picky about the next one. Going deep on AI driven interfaces, and building AI powered tools myself, because I would rather understand them from the inside than from someone else's post about them.

A few moments from outside work

The path

Graphic design, then interfaces, then the product behind them.

2022–2023

Open University · Associate degree, Visual Communications

Two years across graphic design, branding, animation and UX/UI. A SheCodes HTML and CSS course alongside it in 2022, because I wanted to know what I was handing over.

2023

Rinat Hadar Studio · Graphic and UX/UI Designer

Research and ideation with three other designers. Led the animation work that lifted engagement by 20 percent, and built reusable templates that saved the studio ten hours a week.

2024

Webstick and Maayan Lev Design Studio · UX/UI Designer

Interfaces for 30 B2C sites and more than 20 landing pages, in close collaboration with product and developers. Sales up 65 percent, and 50 percent more high value projects.

2024 · 3 months

Canatio · Product Designer, volunteering

An internal SaaS platform and its companion mobile app, in a three person product design team. I took it for real product reps, not a paycheck.

2025–2026

Housetable · Product Designer, sole designer

A three sided platform serving borrowers, contractors and lenders across B2B and B2C. Owned the full design lifecycle, built a 50+ component design system that cut handoff time by 30 percent, and ran the research that reshaped the product flows.
